About Gold Coast international market

African grocery and meat market

Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (336) 763-0613. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 149 reviews, which is a strong result for an asian grocery store in Greensboro and suggests consistent service.

Greensboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Greensboro is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I was very excited to find Ribena drink. I have not been able found it since I returned from Kenya. This store has a lot of international foods.

Rude and not a good experience! We are looking to buy steaks and chicken in bulk for a wedding. People who own it I guess standing outside. We spoke and she pretended like she didn’t see or hear us… I’ll take my real black dollar elsewhere!

There are a lot of African food items and meats and fish. Well organized. Friendly staff. Very helpful. Plenty freezers with meat, fish, veggies, etc. I would recommend stopping by to stock up on African essentials for cooking.

This is a great international market for anyone interested in West African food. We drove for close to an hour in order to get the exact ingredients we needed. Our little road trip to this store was worth every mile.
